It’s slightly more than a year since Maleek Berry released his first EP, Last Daze of Summer, which completely dazzled most of us. The critically acclaimed project contained popular tracks like Eko Miami, Let Me Know and an extended version of his smash hit, Eko Miami. We also saw Maleek Berry transitioned from a music producer who makes silvery beats to an equally talented singer.
Within the space of one year, so much has happened for Maleek Berry, he has produced and sang some of the top songs of the year, gained more recognition and has hosted his own concert. He comes through with a second EP, The First Daze of Winter continuing from where he left off with the last project. The First Daze of Winter is a 6-track project housing some of his previously released singles of 2017; Been Calling and Pon My Mind. The sound is pretty much the same for most of the songs on this project with a fusion of Dancehall, Caribbean, and Afro-beat which is clearly Maleek’s winning formula and he is sticking to this.
The singer, producer, and writer is embarking on a tour titled The First Daze of Summer in the month of February, across Europe and in London, where it already sold out.
