Efe Oraka Takes Her Chances With Love In “Wonderland”

She won the hearts of many after her stunning mash-up of Jon Bellion songs went viral which was also acknowledged by the British singer, the phenomenal teen, Efe Oraka, has become one act we have picked more interest in.

Wonderland - Efe Oraka

For some, her Instagram page has become a go-to place for undiluted entertainment and pass time with impressive acoustic covers from Nigerian biggest stars which include – Mo’Hits all stars and Olamide, blending her creativity and charming personality in creating each piece.

With her first single titled Wonderland off her EP, Magic scheduled for release at the end of 2017, Efe shows she is more than the just a teenage girl who makes beautiful covers. Yes indeed, for there are other aspects to her as well – an adventurous lady and is passionate about love just as she expresses in her music.

Wonderland is heavily influenced by Lewis Carroll’s 1865 fantasy novel, Alice In Wonderland, a tale of a young girl, Alice who fell down a rabbit hole, encountered many strange creatures and had many surreal experiences.

Efe is a faced with a similar situation on this tune as she starts on a soothing but emotional note declaring

I feel like Alice, In this lonely town, Oh I feel so down, And I’m gonna need a pick-me-up, You’re an adventure, To a different place, You are filled with flames, And I really pray I don’t get burned…”.

The entire lyrics centers around a toxic love affair, although the outcome might not be favorable, neither is the destination certain but she is willing to take her chances, however, or wherever it leads.

Wonderland is produced by the skillful and talented Tay Iwar as both displayed great chemistry on the track. We can definitely say Efe has our ears itching to hear more from her upcoming EP.

In the meantime, listen and share your thoughts.
