Chynn is a Nigerian based raper signed to Falz’s BahdGuys label group. He has been on the edge of the industry’s limelight since the release of his The Graduate mixtape 3 years ago, and subsequent singles that became fan favorites such as BIG, Hollywood, Find You and feature in Falz‘s “Chardonnay Music“. Consequently, it can be insisted that there might have been a disconnect with the rapper’s ability to create a western feel in his music, something we know is hard to get away with in Nigeria.
However, with Omo Kekere, it is safe to say that the rapper may have found a bridge in the disconnect. What’s amazing is how he’s mutated the sound we recognize as mainstream with his urban rap styles that leave us dazed with each song.I don’t regard this fully as underground music because of this. Someone argued that he was in fact, American rapper, Pusha T. Funny. Anyways, you’re looking at a sure hit if this can be pushed right.
