Songs you should jam to this week Vol. 1

Songs you should jam to this week

I feel like there’s way too much music coming into the light these days, and I’m not gonna complain because They are really good. Plus it’s nice to see people getting more comfortable with their creativity and working more on their craft.

Anyways, I always listen to every single piece of music I come across (where do I find the time I wonder as well), and sometimes I don’t get a chance to talk about most of them, or even post them on here. But, i always repost on my SoundCloud page the_urbanfx; so if you’re not already following, make sure you do so now. So I decided to at least do a weekly selection of songs you don’t want to get lost in the mix of a steady flow of releases.

Here are a few selections I suggest you don’t miss out on, Find time this week to listen and enjoy.

Good Loving – Bankyondbeatz Ft. DJYin

This is a duo that you always want to look out for. DjYin offers her incredible vocals which come as a surprise and put the question to what kind of DJ she is.

Love Back – Wavos Ft. Remy Baggins

Love Back offers an afro-house sensation that braces well with vocals from Remy Baggins who co-produced the track with Wavos who is part of the West-African producer/DJ collective Deep Housa.

Breakfast Club – Great Raheem

Canadian based rapper known as Great Raheem offers a diverse blend of his character and talent, as he cleverly uses the radio show ‘Breakfast Club’ to talk about his fantasies and current hustle balancing everything from being up in morning for school, to writing songs, recording and grinding while also living a normal life.

Details – DAP the Contract

Details is the fourth installment of his CONTRACT THURSDAYS series. It comes off as a Lo-Fi hip-hop track with in-track interludes that add to the storyline of the song. And who the H#^@ is Keisha???

Slowly – Jinmi Abduls Ft. Remmy Baggins

Of his recently debut album JOLAG, Jinmi Abduls teams up with singer/producer Remy Baggins to offer a caribbean themed sensation in Slowly. I find it hard to take this off repeat.

Freak – Xanni

Check out this afro-house track by Xanni

Hope you enjoyed the list! It’s a first of many to come, so be on the lookout and don’t forget to comment and share
